The Company comprises of shore based staff and sea going personnel working on board ships. The management staff of the company, headed by the Board of Directors comprises of the Managing Director the Department Managers and Ships command.

The rest of the company employees work both in head office and on board ships in different ranks and positions. At the time of its inception, the company had 127 sea going and 20 shore based employees. currently it has 360 sea going and 177 shore based employees.

Board of Directors:

The board of directors is the top management level by which major company policies and related matters are directed and decided. It is composed of six members four of which are appointed by the government and the remaining two are elected by the company's workers to represent the company.
